Slip dress and pyjamas to go out?

What many of us love about fashion is its ever-changing nature, its way of staying, varying and then coming back again, that’s the reason why we keep in our attic those Levi’s 501 from high school, together with a bunch of other clothes because one never knows, you then see them on a runway and says, wow! I had them ten years ago.
What we love about fashion is the chance to “dress up” everyday for the sole purpose of seeing ourselves different, or to just wear our “uniform” built on our own style, able to make us brave when facing our long days.
What really makes fashion one of a kind is the opportunity to mix items you didn’t even think about and feel that subtle euphoria when it gets the right effect.

In these first days of May, with a sea-scented air already, the desire of wind through our hair and sun kissing our skin (well protected by a 50 sun protection factor), I tried to wear a silky weightless slip dress to go out and not to go to sleep, and I loved the result, maybe because it’s May and thoughts are confused by the longing for lightheartedness and raspberry ice-cream.

Wearing slip dress and palazzo pyjamas is one of this season’s trends: nothing new, of course, Irene Galitzine proposed her famous palazzo pyjamas back in 1962, but as we said, fashion sometimes comes back and it gets reinterpreted again and again, and that’s just why we like it. If you too want to try experimenting with sleepwear, do some tests at home and if you’re satisfied, let this trend seduce you. At worst, you can always get back to your “uniform” tomorrow.
