In a hot summer day (finally), after the runway by Costume National and an intense afternoon at the White in Milan, I’d like to spend a few words about what is, in my opinion, one of the most beautiful fashion fairs organized in Italy.
The Pitti, even if mainly focused on man, keeps an eye on women fashion, its accessories etc…and it has a flavor you can’t taste anywhere else. The Taste, the good taste, and much more…
Year by year more refined and fashionable, the stands show, especially this year, very warm fabrics, rich in cashmere and so thick they seem ready to be crocheted to create oversize pullovers: here, street style rules.
A show full of fashion, elegance and colors; clothes and outfits are extremely refined: from the dandy with waxed moustache, hat and derby shoes with no sock, to the Off-White and Hood By Air looks, strictly in black & white. Streetwear in its purest form!

We all know quite well Jeremy Scott for its inspiration and creativity. Well, after 20 years from the last brand’s celebration, he brought back Moschino to the Pitti, presenting his collection in Palazzo Corsini.
He plays with brocades, which become stretch and printed, his man is Mozart, Biker, Toreador, he’s the King.
The man is the heart of the event, a man who is King again, what else?
Massimo Giorgetti: we like him, and we like him very much.
Colorful and cheeky in his homonymous brand MSGM, he embarks on such a new adventure: a loft with encrusted walls hosts a refined collection with a French flavor.

This is the new space for Pitti, a brand new conceptual location to show off how avant-garde it is, with an eye on a “no gender” future: clothes for him and for her, created without the “made for” concept, and with the “for everyone” idea in mind instead.
Simple and neat in its lines, Arthur Arbesser runway opens the event. The Austrian designer presents a collection of outfits for him and for her, investigating the agender look.
This brand customizes the iconic sneakers by making them unique with its fresh and characteristic artworks, pop art, photography, comics and ART in all its forms.
For Pitti, it presents the “Mickey Mouse” capsule collection, eight items representing the Disney world.
