“Threads of words , pages of clothes“: this is the phrase that best sums up the concept of this show, which takes over and makes clothes thoughts of Leopardi and D’Annunzio. An idea that had realized never before on a runway and that sees the Maison Camaiani committed to bring to the stage not only beautiful clothes, but also the words. Silk and chiffon, organza books like headgear or bag: all reminiscent of the book and its magic. The shapes and fabrics of these dresses wrap around the body like the cover wraps around the pages of a book.
The collection is characterized by soft colors, but, at the same time, stylish and elegant lengths that can be seductive but also bon ton. They also strike for the phrases that is embroidered on the back of jackets, lauding the magic of life as a work of art. The words of the creative director explain everything that is contained in this collection: “It all started with a sheet, thanks to the timidity or, at least, the absence of the voice. When as a child my drawings told about me and about my dreams and helped me day after day and year after year. ” A feast for the eyes and for the soul.
