They call them culottes, nine-tenth pencil pants or simply ankle-length pants. They appeared on catwalks this winter (I loved the ones that Armani came up with ) and they will certainly re-appear in the spring season as well.
Their length can vary: they can go from halfway up your calf to your ankle, are wide or even very wide and are often high-waisted. How do you wear them?
They go nicely with a cropped sweater, or even with a giant sweater; they look chic if paired with high heels or even with lace-up men’s shoes.
