Swap Party
The Swap Party is an idea born in California, in San Francisco in the 1990s, Cosamimettooggi imported this barter party to Italy.
It is said that every woman has an average of 24 pieces at the bottom of her wardrobe, including clothes and accessories that she no longer uses.
What to do with that dress worn once, those shoes with the heel too high, that choker too colourful, that wrong gift or those jeans that are perfect but the wrong size?
Cosamimettooggi regularly organises aperitifs in the city’s coolest places where people can swap clothes and accessories while sipping a Cosmopolitan or a good glass of Rosso di Montalcino.
How the Swap Party Works
If you are interested in participating in the next edition of the Swap Party, please fill in the form next to it now. You will be contacted two weeks before the event, and the day and location of the party will be indicated.
The participation fee is Euro 10.00 and includes entrance and aperitif. When the doors open, you will be registered, you will hand in your clothes, which will be assessed, and for each outfit or accessory handed in you will receive a token with which you can later barter a corresponding item.
You will receive a welcome drink and find our professionals waiting for you who will take care of your hair and make-up free of charge, all this with music in the background for a perfect happy-hour.
In the meantime, our staff will prepare the clothes and accessories for the exchange, a real boutique will be set up with stands, tables and a fitting room. At 7 p.m. the actual Swap Party will begin.
What to bring
We want the Swap Party to remain an exclusive event so only bring beautiful, clean clothes in good condition.
All right
Bring a minimum of three pieces but no more than eight per person. You can exchange them for as many pieces.
Not good
Do not wear underwear. Do not bring more than two pieces per person between shoes and accessories.
