The world of tights<\/strong> is a marvellous world, be they stockings, sheer or not sheer, knee-highs, socks, thigh-highs, men’s socks (worn by a woman). Tights can always make your look more original and refined.
\nWhen I think of stockings, I always remember one of the images that has remained with me forever. It dates back to when I started studying fashion, and this is it:<\/p>\n

\"Wolford<\/a><\/p>\n

It goes back to the 1940’s, when the war began. Production of tights stopped, because the factories that produced nylon were converted into military factories. Women had to make do without their beloved companions, and they ended up drawing the rear seams of tights on their legs, to make it look like they were wearing tights. I think that was genius!<\/p>\n

The Wolford<\/strong>\u00a0tights that appear in today’s outfit are reminiscent of\u00a0those seams, which have been re-interpreted with a modern, zig-zag pattern, with high heels that you can catch a glimpse of from your shoe.<\/p>\n

Wolford is a fashion label that specializes in the production of socks and luxury tights. It has been doing so since 1960. The label originated in the industrial district of Lake Constance. It was the result of Reinhold Wolff<\/strong> and Walter Palmers<\/strong>‘ entrepreneurial genius.
\nOver the years, the experience in the art of knitwear, combined with cutting edge technologies allowed Wolford to grow and be listed on the Vienna stock exchange in 1995.<\/p>\n

Wolford products have attained and maintained a very high quality standard, and nowadays, they are distributed in approximately 65 countries all over the world, through one-brand stores and partner stores, but also through their e-shop. In the e-shop<\/a><\/strong>, you will not only find Flavia (the tights that I am wearing today). You will also find a vast collection of suspender belts, thigh highs, leggings, socks, bodysuits, coloured tights, black tights, sheer tights, summer tights, winter tights.
