“All you need to do is to keep the wind behind ” J. Conrad – The Shadow Line
This is a very good book that I read a long time ago. It makes me think of travels as well as of the wind, of which there is a lot in Fuerteventura.
This island was a very pleasant discovery. The sand dunes that you see are located in the Natural Park of Dunes, in Corralejo, which constitutes an immaculate white expanse which rushes into a crystalline sea. Aren’t the mills fantastic? They are scattered all over the island. The Green Lake and its beach of black sand are situated in the volcanic island of Lanzarote, which can be reached in half an hour by ferry. I suggest that you visit it even for just a day – it will give you breathtaking landscapes and delicious wines.
Yes, okay. Shouldn’t you be talking about fashion? I hope that you forgive me for digressing. The sand and the dunes required a white dress which would allow itself to be caressed by the wind. They also required a traditional Cuban bracelet shaped like a fork, which I had purchased in a market in Havana. But that’s another tale…and another journey…
The evening ended with a romantic meal in a restaurant that was run by an Italian who was absorbed in a suggestive landscape: his name is Azzurro, and he is in El Cotillo, opposite the beach with live music and the sunset…
I was wearing:
– Zara white dress similar here
– Classic flats similar here
– Fork bracelet
